 Weiss Associates Wins $15M Environmental Remediation Contractat Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
January 2012Emeryville, January 13, 2012: Weiss Associates, one of northern California’s most respected environmental consulting firms,announced that it has been awarded an estimated $15M contract with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), to
 provide Hydrogeologic and Environmental Remediation Services at the Livermore Site and Site 300 Superfund sites. This is the
 fourth LLNL contract win for Weiss Associates since 1984.
 
 Weiss has collaborated with LLNL for more than 26 years, providing hydrogeologic, remediation, regulatory compliance,
 modeling, engineering and field geologist and technician support services. With streamlined operations and experienced
 technical support, including characterization and remediation of volatile organic compounds, Weiss has provided LLNL with
 cost‐effective characterization and remediation methodologies, and support to LLNL’senvironmental investigation, remediation
 and Superfund document preparationactivities.
